In july 2011,
my family and I went to a Surakarta Hadiningrat palace or more popular is Solo palace.
It is a good place for everyone to visit it because in here we can know about
the culture in Solo city. Many object full of history so make me know about
what happened in the past. In this place also contain of mystery so we must
more polite to honor a guard in Surakarta Hadiningrat palace.
This is the
little story about Solo palace. It was founded by His Majesty
Sultan Pakubuwono II (Sunan PB II) in 1744 as a replacement for the Palace /
Palace Kartasura were ravaged by Geger Chinatown 1743. Last palace of Mataram
kingdom was established in the village of Sala (Solo), a small port on the west
bank of Bengawan (river) Concrete / Sala. After the official palace of the
kingdom of Mataram was built, the village name was changed to Surakarta
Sultanate. The palace is also a silent witness to the transfer of sovereignty
by Sunan PB Mataram Kingdom II to the VOC in 1749. After Giyanti Agreement in
1755, the palace was later used as the official palace of the Surakarta. This
palace complex of buildings still serve as shelter and household sunan palace
royal tradition that still runs to this day. This palace is now also one of the
attractions in the city of Solo. Most of the palace complex is a museum that
holds various collections of Kasunanan, including a variety of gifts from the
kings of Europe, replica heritage palace, and gamelan. In terms of the
building, this palace is one example of a traditional Javanese palace
architecture at its best.
